Our Switch off games follow the lights out rule: one press changes a small cross of lights. Turn the whole board off, from short 3×3 puzzles to longer 5×5 challenges.

- Press any square to toggle that light and its immediate neighbors above, below, left and right.
- Watch both the icons and the On or Off labels. A helpful press may turn some lights on before you can turn everything off.
- Finish with every light off. The best possible press count is an optional target; you can solve the board in more presses.
Pressing twice cancels a move
The same switch changes exactly the same lights every time, so pressing it twice restores those lights. Two presses are never needed in a shortest solution. Use Undo to explore a choice, or ask for a hint based on the board you have now.

Before your next puzzle
Do diagonal lights change?
No. Only the pressed square and the immediate horizontal and vertical neighbors change. A corner affects three squares, an edge usually affects four, and an interior square affects five.
Are all the starting boards solvable?
Yes. Every starting board is checked for a solution and a shortest press count. There is no timer or penalty for exploring a longer route.
